Do I need an account?
No. Students do not create EFF Essentials accounts or passwords.
Where is my plan stored?
Your plan is stored in this browser by default. It can be lost when browser data is cleared, so export a copy when needed.
Are prices live?
Not unless a card explicitly says it comes from an approved current feed and shows its check date. Student-entered and estimated prices are labeled.
Does EFF guarantee help or housing?
No. Providers control eligibility, funding, hours, inventory, and availability.
Can I use the Help Desk?
Yes. The EFF National Student Help Desk remains a separate support entry point linked throughout the resource center.
