Every external record is designed to carry its source, retrieval date, verification status, and review date.
Institutions
U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard data or approved downloadable snapshots, plus reviewed EFF corrections and aliases.
Community resources
Approved sources may include 211, official government sources, official campus pages, recognized nonprofits, and directly verified provider submissions.
Nutrition
USDA FoodData Central when configured, with identifiers and retrieval dates. Nutrition estimates are not medical advice.
Shopping and prices
Approved feeds, user-entered prices, clearly labeled estimates, external retailer searches, or Instacart links. EFF does not scrape retailer sites.
Housing
Approved licensed listing providers, official campus sources, or reviewed property submissions. EFF does not scrape rental platforms.
